Changing display format of single answer digit <-> scientific notation and decimal<->fraction

HP Recommended
HP Prime Graphing Calculator

So, I realize that I can go into settings and change the calculator over to scientific notation, but I want to be able to show a single answer as scientific notation. As in I get the number and convert its display for only that number.

Additionally, I would like to be able to jump back and fourth between decimal numbers and fractions.

Regarding your second request, here's one way to do it in Home view: Press the fraction key [a b/c] multiple times to toggle through several ways of displaying a number, including fractional notation. It'll work on the most recent result if nothing is selected, or it'll work on any selected (highlighted) number in the result history.

Regarding your first request, I too would be interested in a method for displaying the most recent result in scientific notation without changing the current global number format setting.

Thank you for an answer here. I feel dumb for missing it, but that fraction key works like a charm. Now if only those pesky devs would implement this same feature, but with scientific notation (hint hint). Overall I really like this calculator though. It is going to be my daily driver when I graduate.
