HP 10bII+ Financial Calculator Help

HP 10bII+ Financial Calculator

I recently got new batteries for my financial calculator because the old ones were dead. However, once I had them put in at Batteries Plus, what shows up on the screen is 0.00 with both the upper and lower keys on. I cannot push any buttons to make it either go away or turn off. I even held down the reset button multiple times and it still will not either turn off or allow me to enter anything into the calculator. Help!

Hi,

Some things to check:

Make sure the correct size battery is fitted: CR2032

Both batteries must have the "+" side visible (i.e. the side with name & size must be visible on both).

Remove both batteries for a day - this sometimes helps to "reset" the calculator.

Because you have not been able to turn the calculator off, the batteries may have drained and you may need new batteries again unfortunately (use a good brand).
