HP Recommended
HP 12C

I have a 12C financial calculator that is returning 9.999999 99 for 70! instead of 11.978571 93 - - Has anyone ever expeienced this?

As a note, other factorial computations are correct.

Hello,

70! is 1.1978571669969891796072783721689098736458938142546425 E100, and the max for the 12C is E99, so it is returning the max value possible.

Although I work for the HP calculator group as a head developer of the HP Prime, the views and opinions I post here are my own.

Thank you for your answer and responsiveness!

The answer is consistent with my intuition, but It was difficult finding confirmation on-line.
