HP 7 G2 1311 Tablet is stuck in erasing in the reset function
05-30-2018 10:42 AM - edited 05-30-2018 10:54 AM

I have tried to factory reset my son's HP 7 G2 tablet through the on mode. It has been saying erasing now for about 3 hours. I have cut it off about 8 times to do the off reset but every time it comes back on it is right back to the erasing screen. Been on the HP site & watched the video's that were sent to others for doing this but this one still coming up saying erasing. How long should a reset take? Before this my son wasn't having any issues working on it but I was going to give it to someone else & wanted to get the information off by factory resetting. Any suggestions please. Thanks.
