HP prime G1 Calculator

Hp prime  Gen 1 touch screen disabled after updating.  This description from archive I think might explain the problem but not solution.

(The problem is that your unit came with a newer firmware, and updating to an older one stopped the touchpanel from working as the older OS doesn't support the touchpanel in your new unit.)

I have tried resetting the calculator which made it unusable as now it is stuck on the welcome screen with non functional touch screen.

I have used the connectivity kit on a win 7 and tried on a win 10 machine after all efforts failed on the win 7 machine.

current application version  20200116v14425

OS version  v0.050.640

I have tried every trick I could find from previous posts including downloading the oldest firmware I could get on the ftp archive but to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated!!
