HP Prime crashed by 'break' command

Hi,

You haven't declared your variables.

After BEGIN add a line

LOCAL A, B;

EXPORT Demo_BREAK()
BEGIN
LOCAL A, B;                  <-- add this line
FOR A FROM 1 TO 10 DO
  B:= (A+3) MOD 5;
  IF B==1 THEN BREAK;
END;
END;
END;

Regards.

@Maké I have the latest downloaded from the website. The emulators work fine, just not my G2.

HP Prime crashed by 'break' command

Hi Bart,

No success. The program is one of the built in demos so should be okay as it stands.

HP Prime crashed by 'break' command

Hi!, @Sc99cs :

Try, with ...

Pragma mode OK.PNGPragma mode.PNG

Or too, write in first line ...

#pragma mode( separator(.,;) integer(h32)) --> without "comma separator" after ... #pragma mode( separator(.,;)

Kind Regards !.

HP Prime crashed by 'break' command

I have tried different variations of the pragma command to no success. However as this is a demo program, built into the calculator I shouldn't need to change things .

I have managed to suppress the crash by wrapping the BREAK command in an IFERR block.

but this still doesn't answer the question about if it is just my calculator or a bug in the G2 😕

HP Prime crashed by 'break' command

I posted the same question on the HP Museum forum and someone else has confirmed that they get the same crash on their calculator. Furthermore this apparently use to be a known bug on the G1 which was fixed but seems to have been brought back to the G2.

Thank you Maké and Bart for your help with this.
