Solved!

HP Prime function SLOPE always returns 0

HP Prime Calculator
Other

I tried using SLOPE function on my Prime calculator as per the example in the user's manual. It returned 0 instead of -4. I then tried others like SLOPE(X^2,2) or SLOPE(SIN(X),0) and it always returns 0. I then updated the firmware. Software version is 2.1.14181 (2018 10 16) Hardware version C CAS version 1.4.9.  Any ideas what's happening ? Everything else I've tried is working fine.

Hi,
What kind of application are you using: Function or CAS.
Aplication Function works very well. See attached screenshots from HP PRIME. If you are using CAS , write x as an uppercase letter X. When you write a lowercase x, you always get 0.

Best regards!

The lower case x was the problem, works fine in both modes now. Thanks.
