HP Prime not recognised by Connectivity Kit in MacOS

I have an HP Prime Hardware Version A, running the following versions:

Software: 2014-3-31 (6030)

CAS: 1.1.0-46

Help Ver: 2014-03


When I run the connectivity kit for Mac (osx 10.14.6) it does not recognize the calculator so I can't update anything.


I saw an old thread about this, which suggested I put the calculator into "Recovery Mode" - which I have done.

Then I plug the Calculator in again, and no connection.


I do not have a windows machine, so can't do a windows connect......without a lot more instruction than I have found so far.


My basic question is, how do I get this calculator updated.
