Yes, i have tried this form too.

No matter wether I include or omit the name of the target variable application crashes the same way.

It simply throw me to ios workspace screen without any error reporting.

And after that, when I start application again there is no history of the example on which failure occurs.

Me too.

In CAS mode, just enter x, press enter and it crashes.

Since HP doesn´t seem to to be interested in fixing the bug, they could at least rollback to the previous version of the app. I don´t know exactly what is new in the latest version (2.1), but at least the previous one (1.4.1) was more stable, and not ridiculously tested before being published.

The iOS version has a similar menu but well hidden...

Swipe from the left part of the screen towards right and the menu appears.

But in any case, even resetting, the crash problem persists: any time you try to insert a variable in CAS mode, the iOS App crashes

Have you updated the calculator and on your computer to the Virtual emulator, Firmware and Connectivity Kit ?.

If not, you can actualize, with ... ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/calculators/Prime

Problem is with iOS version, not PC emulator or real calculator. iOS version still broken, still abandoned.

edit: Oh, I shouldn't say abandoned, they WILL still take your money (for a broken app.)

yes, as the previous HP Prime iOS App did work, the problem should be in some libraries / binaries that need to be modified / recompiled to keep the pace with the evolving iOS

In beta the problem fixed for both my iOS iPhone 11 pro max and iPad Pro 12,9 second generation
