Improvement Request Isect Intersection Function
08-21-2018 03:08 PM

I think Intersection function in the Function App needs some improvements, when an intersection is selected a soft menu can be shown with the legend view to view the intersection point in another window or in a pop-up window to have a better view, also when we use the recall Isect variable in the Home or CAS view it only shows the x value of the intersection, it would be useful to implement a fully functional recall for the variable, I mean that the result variable contains the X and Y values in a matrix or a list, to use this values in next operations.

After performing any operation like Intersection in the Function app, the result (X,Y) is automatically stored in the X and Y variables for your use. If that's not what you're looking for, please advise.

This is really good than you, the manual must be updated to add this "capability", but I think the result stored in Isect can contain boot X and Y, as an improvement I mean you are storing one result why not to store both of them?, the option tho show the intersection point in a separte window is for a better view of the answer.
In the way you show me as soon as you move the cursor out of the intersection point the values of X and Y changes, the results stored in isect must be "permanent" until you look for another intersection 😄
