If you want to calculate a indefinite integral make sure if you are in "CAS MODE". As image bellow.

CAS MODE ONCAS MODE ON

If you aren't, push CAS button.

Please, mark Accept As Solution bellow, if it solves your problem.

Regards,

Gabriel Maia.

See, the images, for indefinite an definite integral ...

Integral_1.JPG

In comparison with Wolfram Alpha ...

https://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=definite+integral&assumption=%7B%22F%22,+%22DefiniteIntegralCa...

https://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=definite+integral&assumption=%7B%22F%22,+%22DefiniteIntegralCa...

https://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=indefinite+integral+sin(x)

Note : The definite integral although they indicate the use of CAS and what you indicate as example, not have result, why "does not converge".

Kind Regards !.
Have a nice day !.

Hallo Lela. Guten Tag.

Noch ein Detail: ins CAS auswahl muss man die Ausdrucksvariablen in Kleinbuchstaben schreiben.

MfG, Ciro Bruno

Thank you Rick.

I've seen the printscreen in German and then just answered without paying attention.

I just wanted to tell the author that in CAS option, variables must be expressed by small letters.

Regards,

Ciro Bruno.
