My calculator refuses to turn on.

My trusty old calculator refuses to turn on. I did hit the “ON” button and the “ERASE” buttons simultaneously, that I understand is meant to erase everything, but my calculator refuses to turn now.

 

 I purchased it in 1980, so the warranty is probably null and void, but I love it and would dearly want it to resuscitate itself. Please anyone contact me [edit]

I am sorry, but I can not help you on this...

However, I would suggest that you post this on[edit]  They are lots of peoples there that are extremely knowledgeable about older HP calculators and who most likely will be able to help you.
