No "π" on HP Prime?
01-31-2018 09:16 AM - edited 01-31-2018 09:27 AM

Hello,
I am trying to determine if there is a way to input the number "pi" or "π" on HP Prime without just using the rounded "3.14" to solve problems.
I am currently using this calculator for trig problems, and some of my answers vary from people using TI calculators, because they can simply input "π" on their calculator and get a much more exact answer than me rounding to two decimals. I would like to add that I prefer to use RPN in the home window, so if there's a way to use the constant "pi" there, that would be fantastic.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Never mind... I searched and searched on the calculator key pad and just wasn't seeing it.
[SHIFT] 3 Key will do it... Don't know why I kept missing it. Thank you for your help y'all.

Note that we put it on the "3" key (since 3.14....) 🙂
Although I work for the HP calculator group as a head developer of the HP Prime, the views and opinions I post here are my own.
