Solved!

Prime - create variables with a ' (prime) symbol

HP Recommended
Prime
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello all,

Is there a way to create a variable with a ' (prime) symbol? i.e x' or t'

U have been able to create all sorts of variables including Greek letters but primes don't work.

Is it a limit of the calculator or me?

Thanks,

Bob

Prime is unable to use the single quote found on the [() N] key as part of a variable name, because it is used in the syntax of a variety of things.  However, the single quote found on the top row of the special characters palette, [9] key, is a different character and can be used in a variable name.
