Please, can someone help?

Why I am having different results?

1) When using Home plot with (2X(Sqr) – 9X) the Slope result is -1

2) When using CAS with SLOPE(2X(Sqr) – 9X) the result is 0

3) When using Home with SLOPE(2X(Sqr) – 9X) the result is -1

Thanks

For the CAS, you need lower case x.

Note:

I have another post as follows:

Please, how to know when I can or cannot use the CAS mode?

In other words, which functionally must use the CAS mode?

I have an HP Prime for two weeks, and I am still having a problem figuring out it.

Thanks

This calculator can cause a misleading calculation, with my 50G I have no problem.

I will try one week more before returning it, please can someone help?

HiJLuis2,

There is two use of slope in CAS, one is low case "slope" as below

slope lowercase.png

And Upper case "SLOPE" as Below

SLOPE.png

When you use upper case SLOPE command with uppercase variable it too produce same answer, in CAS

Hope this helps

Upper or Lower case is not the issue in this post.

The issue is that I am having different results when use HOME vs CAS mode?

In CAS mode it shows 0
