I am trying to solve the following equation,
'sin(beta-0.361) + sin(0.361)*e^(-beta/0.377) = 0'
It should give me beta = 3.5 rad = 201 degrees. However, I tried to solve using 'Solv App > CAS > Solve > Numerical' and other ways and I couldn't get the correct result. Is there a different way to solve this?
Solved! Go to Solution.

I assume you might be also Brazilian, but anyway I'll reply in English.
Please take a look at chapter 22, starting in page 370, of User's manual. There you'll find detailed description of SOLVE function to be used in CAS mode.
Then look at the attached picture, showing the solution for your equation through SOLVE function.

First of all, thank you for your reply, and yes, I am Brazilian.
Regarding your reply, I tried to use the method described by the section you pointed out in the User's Manual, but I still couldn't get it right. Coul you upload the picture again, please? I wasn't able to visualize it.
