Soving a differential equation using desolve

Can HP Prime solve the following differential equation for y:

y' + 3* y / (800+2*t) = 0

where y' is the derivative of y with respect to t.  I tried several ways of using desolve, but kept getting "bad argument value."

Re: Soving a differential equation using desolve

I resolved my problem. I should have used diff instead of ' for differentiation. I got the correct answer using diff, although it was not in its simplest form, but correct none-the-less.

Note the ' diff command may have assumed "x" as your variable. Perhaps that is why it didn't work?

Without seeing the input you tried I'd have a hard time saying. It may have been something else instead.
