HP Prime

I have just received my HP prime calculator and am trying out some basic functions.  In either home or CAS mode, when I try to input an equation to differentiate or integrate, if I press the x,t,theta,n button, it gives me an 'a'.  I have the desktop virtual calculator and the ipad app for the prime and inputting the same information it gives me an 'x'.

All three are using the same firmware revision and settings are the same.

Someone else had this question just a day or two before you:

You have the solve app active. For details, see the link as to what it is doing.

Note - i've also put this on our list of future enhancements to improve as things could definitely be more clear here.

Although I work for the HP calculator group as a head developer of the HP Prime, the views and opinions I post here are my own.
