-ve sign usage issue

Hp prime
When ever I go to type in an equation or number like -2+3 The calculator will display it as Ans-2+3 how do I fix this

Type [SPC] [ - ] (the problem is hitting [ - ] to start an entry assumes you want the last item, subtract the next item)

 

Or, the better solution is to use the  [ +/- ] key next to the x^2 and ( ) keys.... negation is what you are really trying to do here.

Your first solution works but like when I got the calculator in the begging there was no such issue so why now
