HP Device manager
Microsoft Windows Server 2008

Hey,

I am using HP Device Manager 4.7 with SP 10. Now that I am trying to edit some templates that i made when i try to save the templates i get an error with the message "failed to merge payload in template". After that message the template goes grayed out and i cant edit the template anymore, this also means that I have to remake the template with commands etc.

I do have full admin rights this also doesnt work with root.

Did you get anywhere with this? I am having the same issue. 😞

I'm sorry for the inconvenient.  This is a known issue.  The workaround is to always click "Save As" instead of "OK" after making payload related changes.
