The softpaq manager (latest version) no longer can identify my computer model.  I have to manually input the info.  It was working fine last week...  fortunately, the HPIA software is working flawlessly.  I'm guessing the Softpaq manager might be having an issue with it's database.  Any thoughts anyone?

I have a ProBook 650 G2.

Softpaq could not connect to the FTP server, so I installed the latest version 4.4.0.0.

It starts, connects, and downloads the lateset catalog.

However, does not list any softpaqs.

When I click Show this computer, it detects the computer and operating system correctly.

When I click Show All Products, a warning dialog appears "No operating systems have been selected. Please select at least one operating system to include in the product catalog." Pressing OK, brings up the Configuration Options window. There the Filters/Operating Systems page is empty and lists nothing.

After closing the Options, I select PB650G2 w/all OS options and hit FindSoftpaqs. It says Searching for Softpaqs - forever.

The Tools/History lists old updates carried out with the earlier version.

What am I doing wrong?

Guess what?  It started working again.  How about that..I must have been correct with reguards to a something on HP's end not working just right.  It did ask which version of Windows I'm using... 1809.   Then it worked as it should.
