Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

my laptop do not wante te search for updates since 11/12/2016 

when i click on ( seach for updats ) i wait for 3 hours but nothing happen it dont show me the now updates to downlowd it and this caus me abig problems it drop my windows and i dont binfit from new updats 

please help me as fast as u could

I understand that you are facing issues while running the updates on your PC. Do not worry, I’m here to help 🙂

 

First, let’s try to run the windows update troubleshooter to fix this issue. Click https://aka.ms/wudiag to download and run the troubleshooter. Here are the detailed steps suggested by Microsoft to fix the issue if the troubleshooter could not find the problem: Troubleshoot problems updating Windows

 

Also, try using the HP Support assistant to run the updates. Please go to http://hp.care/2gqoIri to get details on how to use the HP support assistant. Follow the steps under “Checking for HP updates”.

 

Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome!
