Happy New Year from the Community Team!
Welcome to 2016!! I hope that everyone had an amazing holiday and got to spend lots of quality time with friends and family.
While I'm wishing you a happy new year, I also wanted to take a moment to reflect on 2015. It's been a big year for the community. From new team members, to all of the great virtual and in-person events, the community was filled with a lot of changes and excitement. Here are some other highlights...
We grew in many ways.
More members, more posts, more solutions... Activity grew by over an astounding 50%. That's over 50% more posts and solutions!
In addition to the community growing, the community team grew as well.
@Bill_F and yours truly joined the team as Community Managers. And we've been having a blast ever since
We had three Expert Days.
With much success! Globally, over the course of 3 day-long events, nearly 1,500 volunteers authored 18,000 posts, which brought in over 600 solutions, and over 2,000 kudos.
We held an epic HP Experts Global Meetup.
67 HP Experts from 18 different countries descended upon San Francisco to hang out for a couple days. How cool is it that the community brought all these people together online and then off?!
We have lots to look forward to in 2016.
The team has been hard at work planning for the community, even way before the start of the new year. We've got many exciting things in the works – from more Expert Days and exclusive technical briefings, to the Product Loan Program and so much more that we can't wait to share!
In case you missed it, on behalf of the communities team...
And we wish you a happy new year!
