My notebook was having problems, so last week I called tech support and got a new one ordered. I also got a 2-year warranty for $69.99, except the guy I was on the phone with said the card wasn't registering. He had me read him my card information three times before he gave up, and I decided to not get the warranty after all. Yesterday I checked my bank account, and it had the amount of $69.99 withdrawn three times from HP. I have been trying to get hold of someone to cancel those transactions, but I can't seem to get hold of anyone.
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
