I purchased the care pack online without knowing that I could not purchase an additional care pack for the same laptop. I have not been refunded for the second care pack, I never had a claim on the first care pack but can not get refunded for that one either (unlike what is advertised now) and now the computer is broke but I am told there is no warranty. Was basically told too bad, the laptop is old and I shouldn't have been able to purchase a second care pack and I shouldn't have been sent an email that said the laptop is covered under warranty only to find out a month later when it broke that the laptop is not covered. No real help from HP other than they will eventually refund the second care pack ( It is now 3 months since I paid for it). Has anyone else had this issue? Every time I create a new case it gets closed with no explanation.

I have reached out to the Care Pack support and they said I should not have been able to purchase a second care pack online. In fact one of them told me in an email that I needed to contact the sales department and tell them "that I purchased it by mistake" so that they can issue a refund for the care pack that I intended to purchase. Very annoying that I could simply click and purchase it on the website, receive an email saying it is covered, and then when I try to file a claim I am told that I bought the wrong warranty and now I can not buy the correct warranty because the laptop is damaged. The sales department said they could issue me a refund but could not sale me a new warranty because I told them the laptop is damaged. I have had several conversations on the phone, via chat and emails but this is the best that HP can do. Crazy because I had just bought another HP laptop with a care pack on the same order as this additional care pack. Way to treat returning customers!
