Salutations,

I'd like to change my registered account to a student account. However, when I originally signed up for my HP account, I used my student email address thinking it would automatically qualify me for student discounts. When I try to activate the student registration, I get an error message that "there is already an account associated with this email address." It then takes me to a screen to "sign in" and it won't let me sign in.

How can I get a hold of someone to help me change my current account into a student account?

I've spent the last 20 minutes trying to chat with someone in customer service online and it always ties me to a product. I don't have a product. I have an account question. This has been incredibly frustrating.

Thanks in advance.

You did not respond to my post at all. I’ve already been to that link and couldn’t find a way to talk to someone. I’m having an issue with my account-not a service or device.
