I purchased a 3 year care pack when I purchased my laptop a few years ago. There was an accidental drop, so very slight damage in a corner, and the battery no longer charges.
I have been struggling to find a way to contact HP support about this.
How do I get in contact with someone in regards to this before the care pack timeframe runs out?

I reviewed your post and I understand that you accidentally dropped the laptop and looking for repair options for your computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you contact support and they will assist you with the available service options for your computer.
Here is how you can get in touch with support.
1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Thank you for your reply.
When I follow your steps, the only options I have is virtual chat ( which I tried but didn't get me anywhere), visit the HP support community (that is how i got here), and find nearest center which lists places like bestbuy for support...
Am I missing a step to get to the chat or contact number?
