Does anyone know of a way around the requirement to provide a credit card to get a warranty replacement on a printer?  I work in an institution where this is against policy, so I am unable to do so.  I need another method to get a warranty repair or replacement.  Otherwise, I have a printer with 26 months of warranty remaining that is essentially useless.

We cannot answer questions of this type - "we" are not HP Support.

Normally, I think you would need to work this out with your case representative at HP.

Yeah, I was just wondering if anyone had run into the issue before and was in the same situation where using a card wasn't possible.  Just looking for anyone who's been in my shoes and could provide some guidance on how they were able to get it successfully resolved.
