I received the following email, I don't have an HP scanner, my question why I am receiving this email? is it spam email?

"Subject: Scan to email:Welcome Mail

Welcome to HP Scan to email.

Your printer user name is:
@mail.com
Your PIN is:
xxxx

You will need this PIN to access your Scan to Email service from the printer.

Thank You,
HP"

@JorgeGiovanni If you don't have an HP scanner, and you continue to get this message, you could turn off the web services on your HP printer, if you don't have one of those either, my best bet is that someone has used your email ID to register for the scan to email feature, hence you are getting the emails, you may want to check with friends and/or family for who's using your email ID and ask them to change the same to resolve this issue.

P.S: Welcome to HP Community 😉

I hope that answers your query,
