I bought my daughter an hp Envy 6-1126sa which has never been dropped or abused and the hinges have broken. She can't close it or the screen falls off. I've noticed this seems to be a serious recurring design fault. I'm extremely disappointed as its out of warranty and I can't afford a big repair bill. My daughter is a student and really needs this for course work. Hp, you should be recalling these and repairing free of charge. Shame on you.
