I purchaced a two year extention to my one year warranty, for my laptop, on 6th March 2016.  Best2serve confirmed the purchase with emails.  At the moment HP support assistant says that the warranty ends on 25 December 2016 and not 2018.  Why have the details not been updated?  Its May now!

The warranty extension may not show up on the HP Warranty program information simply because the Warranty is not specifically an HP Warranty.

Best2Serve is an HP Partner -- the services provided by this company are in compliance (at least they should be so) with HP standards -- it does not necessarily mean that services, warranties, and updates will show up as HP provided services when the HP program is queried for information.

The FAQ page on the subject is a bit vague -- it does indicate you should receive your notice of warranty within 48 hours.
