Hello all -
Does the "Float to Top" option affect the viewing of just the user who checks it, or does it affect everyone visiting the topic area? I've looked at the help files and did not see an answer, perhaps I missed it. If it only affects one user, I have another question.
If your message does not attract an answer within a few days, what is considered the best etiquette to try again for an answer? Is reposting the message the best solution, or is that frowned upon? What do others do to make further efforts to try again for an answer? I assume once a message is stale and moves down the list more than 1 or 2 pages the chances of getting an answer drop dramatically.
Thanks - Randy

Hello Randy_Knowles,
If a user floats a post to the top, it will just effect their personal view, not other users.
If your message does not receive a response, we ask that users do not re-post or "bump" - both of these are against Community Guidelines. Instead reread your original post and try to post again adding more information. Maybe you found out some new details, or forgot something crucial the first time around.
Hope this helps,
MrMatthew
