I've been told that I can reuse a flash drive. Can someone please verify that. And how do I erase one to reuse?

Are you asking how to regain your password, or how to reuse a flash drive?

 

To Format (Erase) a flash drive, plug it into a computer, then open Windows Explorer.  Right click on the drive that appears then choose "Format".

 

HP has a link to help with password recovery: Can HP help me?  I forgot my password!
