Dear Forum Moderator:

 

I have several questions concerning this forum. This does not seem to be the appropriate place to ask them, but I do not see another way to send a question to the Forum Moderator. The questions follow.

 

  1. How do I send questions to the Forum Moderator?
  2. My User Name is JVPULVER2. I suspect there is a JVPULVER who is also me. I ended up with the second User Name as I must have lost the password for the original one and was unable to reset it. Please verify JVPULVER is also me and consolidate the two accounts if it is me.
  3. Please change my ID by my Avatar from Student to something more appropriate. With 40+ years in IT, I hardly qualify as a Student.

Hi Jeff,

 

Welcome to the HP Consumer Support forums!  This forum was a great place to ask your questions.

 

1. To send a message to anyone on the community, including moderators and admins, just click their name in any post or widget.  Doing this will open a profile page. There is a "Send this user a private message" link located at the top right of this page.   You can also click the small envelope icon at the top right of any page to send a private message.  After clicking the envelope icon, click the "Compose New Message" tab and fill in the appropriate boxes.

 

2.  I see no other user with the name JVPULVER.  Unfortunately, if you do have a second account with a different user name, there is no way for us to merge or consolidate accounts.

 

3. Information on the forum ranking system can be found here.  These ranks are dependant on the level of participation in the community and not the real-life skills of our community members.

 

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to let us know.  Thanks!
