Dear Support,

 

 

I have HP Data protector v6.10 installed in Win2003 Server.

I am having hard time with two parts of our Hp data protector. 

 

1. The tapes after taking or running a schedule backup e.g i have 2 category 1: file system, 2: SQL. After the filesystem finished to backup. the tape medi ejected. Which suppose to finish the two task first. Filesystem and SQL before it ejects.

 

2. I have a opera oracle server using oracle 10g and we tried to installed Oracle database integration to grab or configure the online backup as recommended. However after installing the HP data protector to the physical server in opera. It does not support oracle integration.

 

Can we please to have the updated patch software for our HP Data protector that supports oracle10g?

 

or is there any way to register in HP a service Contract or anual maintenance agreement to all our HP products?

 

I work in the hotel and IT Head of the department and most of our products are HP hardwares.

Last year, Hewlett Packard LLC, split into two companies, this one, HP Inc. and another one focused on software and services called Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
