HP Support Assistant troubleshooting

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have had up to 4 computers connected to my HP Support Assistant account.  Two notebooks are no longer active.

When I log into either of the 2 remaining notebooks to read Alerts sent by HP, each notebook shows UNREAD messages on the other notebook, even though all messages sent in the Support Assistant have been read in both notebooks.

Why doesn't the HP Support Assistant installed on each notebook recognize that messages have been read on the other notebooks associated with my account?
