Product introduced early October 2015

Unfortunately,

I cannot find any evidence that indicates this model supports an active stylus.

thanks for such a speedy reply. i find it odd you say that considering my screen is touch screen & within my windows settings there’s a ‘pen & windows ink’ setting for setting up a pen. Are you sure that my pen doesn’t work with the laptop?

is there anything i can do to make the pen compatible with my laptop. if not, is there any alternatives i can do to draw on my laptop. id assume the point of it being a 2 in 1 laptop would be to draw on it also

I do not have an answer that will satisfy you.

In so much that I can find, this notebook model is not compatible with any HP stylus.

The Pen and Windows ink category is not an indicator.

Settings > Devices > Pen and Windows Ink

This Windows category is available on Windows versions starting with Windows Anniversary.

For example, the category is available on my four year old Zbook - Zbook does not have a touch screen.
