HP phone scam saying I have a refund.....new number

I just had a call from "hp connected services" stating I had a refund of like $283. I'm so sick of these calls. Here's the number. Beware. I'm not dumb enough to fall for their crap. I actually call them out and chew them out.

That's how it showed up on my cell phone caller I'd. Is there a thread dedicated to posting these numbers?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

You're kidding? Y'all think I'm gonna give you vital information about my laptop in some message when I didn't personally contact you? I would only do that if I personally CALLED, which I'm not going to.

So I'm commenting on these threads in order to alert people to the scam, you respond sounding totally scammer to me, then you gave this JeffHelp message me sounding even MORE totally scammer asking for my laptops serial number, my full phone number my full name etc. Like I'd give that out.

i.e., a "moderator" of this forum, with the 'MOD' tag.  Definitely, he is NOT a scammer.

If you click on his ID, you can get a list of all his postings to this forum, and see for yourself that he is "helpful".

As for the "private message" that you received, it should identify "JeffHelps" as an employee of HP.

Again, click on his ID, you can see a list of all his postings, and judge for yourself.
