HP reseller having to pay shipping on defective product

As a reseller of HP product, we get product in that is defective, out of the box, I call the HP reseller line, they tell me the product has to go back to our distributer, ok that’s fine, but here is the big kicker, the item/s are defective so we get a RMA from our supplier to ship it back, we ask, ok how do we ship it back, they tell us by UPS OR PUOLATOR,  ok now who pays return shipping, (note: in most cases we have to pay shipping to us when we order,) now we have defective goods that have to go back, but we are told we have to pay shipping back to our supplier, but HP pays our supplier to ship defective goods back to HP but not use dealer, to ship back to our supplier, and HP will not take defective goods back from us dealers, so ok it cost us $40.00 to ship a large laptop back, there goes are profit margin out the window. Take a really BIG PRINTER well we are now in the hole big time.

But if we sell a product to a end consumer and the customer has a warranty problem, no problem Hp covers shipping both ways;;

Anyone have any help on this, other then sell it to a customer knowing there is something wrong with it.. huumm not good business, but the big box stores do it day in an day out..
