The bottom right corner of my computer screen popped open the other day. Today I tried to open it and the (now apparently broken) hinge crushed through the front glass. Two small screws or rivets fell out and it cannot be open or shut without doing further damage. Other than that it works great.
Given that I bought it in late 2017, it is out of warranty, but I wanted to post here to see if the admin or community had any advice or suggestions. It's a great laptop. I'm really bummed it's broken like this. I would love to get it fixed with minimal cost. Is this some kind of recall maybe?
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
