Operating System: Linux

HEY! I have an hp v150w ,it showed you need to format the disk before using,when I tapped ok it took me to the format window, I started the format,it showed windows was unable to complete the format.I tried it on several other devices,but it wasn,t possible either.I tried formatting it in diskpart,regedit,ease us and many other softwares..Then,I gotta know that the system is RAW I tried converting it to NTFS and even FAT32.The process is errupted and it showed the disk is write-protected. Tell me what to do.Does this pendrive has any physical switches?
