HP Envy

I signed up for the HP Care Smart Friend and right after I did so it was determined that my computer’s hard drive was bad, so I had to get a new one. I immediately asked for the plan to be cancel and it has now been a week and I have made a phone call every day to try and cancel this plan but each time I am told that it has been escalated to a different department and someone will call me back in 24 hours.  I have not yet received a phone call nor gotten the plan canceled.  Each time I call in I get the same answer that it has been escalated to the correct department, which I cannot contact myself, and they will call me in 24 hours.  Is there a way to cancel this subscription or will I keep going around and around with the same false assurances?  This is beyond frustrating.

@Smaries,

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forum.

Thank you for your response, I did end up getting this resolved.  Yesterday afternoon after my 12th call and asking for my 4th manager I was finally able to get this canceled.

This was by far the worst customer service I have ever received from a company when trying to resolve and issue.
