Spectre x360 15 15t-ch000

I bought a Spectre x360 15 a couple years ago with a 3 year Care Pack, and that laptop has a very swollen battery that interferes with keyboard and touchpad function, not to mention probably being the reason the laptop get very hot very quickly when I turn it on (which I currently don't because it doesn't feel safe).
When I took the laptop to an authorized service center(Microcenter) they weren't able to verify the warranty, so I checked on here, and the care pack warranty status isn't reflected on my dashboard.  I've posted on here before and attempted to register the care pack (even though when I bought the laptop HP emailed me saying that they were totally going to do that), and I got some emails back HP saying:
"The warranty status has been verified and our records have been updated."
But I don't see that updated in my warranty status on my dashboard.
Also, any advice on alternative to taking my computer in to Microcenter would be appreciated, they're very busy/behind on things, and contactless would be really nice...

Welcome to the HP Support Community.  

 

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you contact HP or Chat Team in your region regarding the service options for your computer. 

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
