I'm a newbie and asked for help. A user gave me a telephone number to call (supposedly for HP Support) turns out they are scammers.

 

The technical support fee was $10 (lie) and this person ending up purchasing gift cards on Amazon.

 

The user has since deleted his or her comment, but I saved it.

The phone number you are referencing was provided by a scammer.

The post and scammer have been removed.  

HP does not provide phone numbers in public posts.
