I purchased a laptop that costs $370. I went through the checkout process and everything confirmed that the laptop costs $370. In the final step of the checkout process, I reviewed my order and it still said the laptop costs $370. After I submitted the order, for some reason the order cost was $440. There was no indication during the checkout process that the cost of the product increased. I have screenshots clearly indicating that the price throughout the checkout process was $370. I am trying to call HP to rectify this issue however I have now been on hold for an hour and a half and still haven't reached a human. This is extremely frustrating, not to mention illegal. This is a classic case of false advertising utilizing bait and switch which is both a $500 federal and state offense. I would appreciate it if someone from HP reaches out to me, otherwise, I will pursue action with my bank and/or legal action.

Our Community is not - not in any way - connected to any business department within HP that sells, services, or provides customer service.

Our Community is comprised of volunteers - people who own and use HP devices.

You do want to speak with HP Store / Sales or Customer Service.

Observation:

The Store and Customer Service are VERY busy - expect delays.

Dragon-Fur, if you can provide another way of contacting Customer Care that doesn't involve sitting on hold for 2+ hours now (and still waiting), that would be appreciated. Otherwise, I will keep shouting wherever I can in order to get HP's notice before I take further action.

Sorry for the confusion.

We are not a business unit of HP.

I have edited my first post to clarify.

We cannot create a faster path for you to contact the HP Store > Customer Service.
