I have noticed this for quite some time. If I was to edit a post the first time it is usually fine. If I edit a second time for a grammar error or to clarify sometimes it will pull an older version of an edit. or a merge of old/new. If i add additional information sometimes it will put back what I edited in the first place. At first I thought this was a caching issue so I played with Ctrl+F5 before and after an edit and I still get the same problem.

Only thing I can figure is that the backend stores prior edits for reviewal if applicable and the edit button is pulling the wrong data.

Just thought I would mention this.

This issue is still here. Not a big deal but is annoying when you need to make numerous edits. I will give an example of the issue below

1) This is the original text of a reply to a thread

2)This is the original text of a reply to a thread

This is my first edit and additional information or corrections

**If I edit a 2nd time, the below information should be the correct final edit but is not what shows up:

3)This is the original text of a reply to a thread

This is my first edit and additional information or corrections

This is my second edit to fix grammar

** Instead, the second edit pulls the data from the original post (1) and does not echo/print the second edit(2). below is the final edit that shows up that is incorrect**

1) This is the original text of a reply to a thread

This is my second edit to fix grammar

The first edit text is removed from the post.

Thanks

This issue is still present. If you need to edit a reply a second time it will pull the data from the initial post instead of the first edit causing you to lose your first corrections
