KeyBoard

HP Recommended

My name is Jim R-NO.
I have been a loyal HP user since the 90's. Everything for the most part, that I have ever purchased has be HP. I rescently had to buy a new keyboard for my commputer. after a couple of weeks, several of the keys would not work. I go down to Best Buy where I purchased it and it was just past the 14 day deadline, so they would not replace it.
I called up HP and the best that they could or would do, is to send me a new one, BUT I would have to wait to get it by USPS. Would not give me my money back, only would replace it by mail. So, I had a choice to make, eat the price I paid for the key board and buy a different one, or wait for it to come.
Here's where it gets interesting, she said that she (the HP Customer Service Gal), would expedite the shipment. Your on line guarantee says 5 business days . . . I don't know about you, but I think 10 days total (which is how long I had to wait for the new keyboard) is more then 5 business days no matter how you slice it, would you not agree?
I was in need to a keyboard that day for a project that I needed to get finished . HP didn't seemed to be concerned or even care. My god, If she wouldn't have expedited it, I shutter to think how long it might have taken.
So Please tell me, why should I ever recommend HP to any one in the future, or not bad mouth HP to everyone? Because I get the feeling, based on customer service, you really don't care any more about your reputation.
I'm pretty sure I will never buy HP Products again.
