So the support agent tells me that my laptop's repair is on hold due to parts shortage and does not know when the parts will be available.  I've sent it to repair over a month ago and it's just on HOLD status.  In the meantime I was informed by the support agent that they will send me a loaner.  But there's no update.  I am now having to chat with support agents on weekly basis (I've setup a reminder to contact HP Support) and every time, I am told the request was not processed.  WTH!!!!!   My kid needs this laptop to do his school work so it's quite urgent.  At this rate I will get to know all the support folks over in India.  I've started to keep track of their names and now we are talking about indian cricket matches! (just kidding)  What is the next course of action to get the loaner expedited?  Do any of you know?  Is there some magically number I can dial to politely yell at someone?

I’m having the exact same issue, except I needed my new HP Pavilion laptop - 15 for the business we were supposed to launch this past month!  It had the black screen of death on January 17th!  I was to receive a loaner.  No loaner came.  I have called and have been told they would expedite the repair, and still nothing happens.  I am told they will call within 72 hours and I receive no calls.  I called today and receive the message that “due to current circumstances we are unable to take calls at this time”.  I am terribly frustrated!
