HP Pavilion 15 bc401nh
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My problem is, that my laptop shuts down not much before I get the notification that I have to plug in the adapter, usually when I reach 20 % (and my laptop changes intoPower Saving Mode).

If somebody can you help me, I would be very grateful!

My laptop is new, my battery too, I've just calibrated it two days ago, and I've installed all the drivers and I've refreshed the BIOS

too!

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand, your notebook shuts down before the notification to plug the charger,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Did you update BIOS?

Did you change the Power settings?

If not, let's try these steps:

  1. In Windows, search for and open Control Panel.

  2. Search for power, and then click Power Options.

  3. Select an option under Choose or customize a power plan.

  4. Click Change plan settings

  5. Select Restore default settings.

  6. Restart your notebook

Let me know how this goes,

Cheers!
