I hate to even post this but HP customers need to be aware of this issue. My HP All-in-One cost me about$1000. It started having hardware issues a few months after I purchased it in January 2019. I purchased a warranty and was expecting HP to repair it after I had worked with support. HP has informed me that the damage is "accidental" and that I have to pay them $498 to repair what I believe is a known issue. I'm not paying them. I'm going to buy a Mac. I would recommend anyone considering an HP product to BEWARE.

@Rascalmat, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
